Strength Training.

Weekly Workout Schedule: Monday: Intense strength training for all muscle groups, then 60 minutes intense cardio training. T,W,TH,F,Sat,Sun: Repeat. Wait...where are the rest days in this schedule? Ok... you are in training and want to get stronger, but did you know that your body actually gets stronger after the tough workout? The rest days allow for crucial repairs to be made, thus increasing strength. You have probably heard the verse Philippians 4:13 quoted in the context that you can do anything you set out to do because Christ gives you the strength. What about the end of the verse? Think about it in reverse: because of His strength, you are able to do anything. As the Amplified Bible states, when allowing His strength to infuse you, thus becoming "self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency," you can accomplish more than you have ever dreamed of. He knows the ultimate destination for your life and how to get you there. Wouldn't it make more sense to let Him take the stress of it all and guide you there? When you simply let His strength take the reins of your life, you can go places you never thought you could. Could you be limiting your ability to achieve much in this (Your Life), and succeed beyond your wildest dreams? Could it be you are wasting precious time on the "trying to figure life out?" Instead, place your hands wide open, ready to receive, and fix your gaze on the Father who desires to give His daughter the most amazing gift: Rest. Try it out. Chances are you will succeed. Rest in Him. Allow His strength to infuse your inner being. Do as He leads. Then go rock this life. Dream on, friends. I dare you.
